Breed Characteristics
The Groodle, commonly referred to as the 'Goldendoodle,' is a charming crossbreed resulting from the combination of a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. Originating in North America in the 1990s as an alternative to the Labradoodle, the Groodle has since garnered significant popularity among dog enthusiasts in Australia and worldwide. Their outstanding intelligence, gentle disposition, affectionate demeanor, as well as their hypoallergenic, minimal-shedding coats, contribute to their growing appeal as a preferred canine companion.
Health
Our primary objective is to produce puppies that exemplify exceptional quality, strong physical health, and exceptional temperaments. We place the well-being of our puppies at the forefront, ensuring their joy, vitality, and freedom from genetic concerns. To uphold these standards, all dogs in our breeding program undergo comprehensive health assessments when they reach 12 months of age. We diligently uphold the excellent health of our dogs by subjecting them to regular, thorough examinations performed by our specialized veterinary professionals.

PERSONALITY AND TEMPERAMENT
Groodles are renowned for their joyful demeanor, unwavering loyalty, and endearing temperament. Our puppies exemplify the remarkable gentleness and amiable nature that characterizes the Groodle breed, making them affectionate additions to any family. Their innate intelligence, inherited from both the Golden Retriever and the Poodle, makes them highly trainable and quick learners. Their deep loyalty ensures they remain vigilant guardians of your family. Moreover, they possess a playful disposition and thrive in human company. Groodles are ideally suited for family environments but are equally wonderful as sole companions. Your Groodle will take immense pleasure in being an integral part of your life, evolving into a cherished and beloved member of your family.
Coat and grooming

Our Groodles showcase two distinct coat types:

-
Fleece Coat: The Fleece coat offers a luxuriously soft and silky texture, akin to an Angora goat's fur. It may display either a straight, wavy appearance or a gentle, flowing curl. This hypoallergenic and non-shedding coat type rarely, if ever, sheds.
-
Wool Coat: The Wool coat features a denser texture, reminiscent of sheep or lamb wool. It should exhibit spiraling, wool-like patterns without appearing overly dense or tightly curled. Much like the Fleece coat, the Wool coat is hypoallergenic and non-shedding, with shedding being extremely rare.

While we can't guarantee complete non-shedding, as all dogs naturally shed some hair, Groodles are well-suited for individuals with allergies and make excellent indoor pets.

COAT MAINTENANCE: Because both the Fleece and Wool coats shed minimally, your Groodle will require clipping 2-3 times a year. You can choose to handle this task yourself or enlist the help of a professional groomer. Regular grooming sessions will also improve coat manageability, and a thorough weekly brushing should suffice to keep it in top-notch condition.

SIZE
Groodles come in three different sizes:
STANDARD:
Height at wither: 52cm to 63cm
Weight: 22kg to 30kg
MEDIUM:
Height at wither: 45cm to 52cm
Weight: 15kg to 22kg
MINIATURE:

Weight: 8kg to 15kg
We specalise is breeding the Minature-sized Groodle, but we may occasionally have a litter of Medium or Standard-sized puppies available.

Hypo allergenic
Our Groodles feature hypoallergenic coats, making them a great choice for individuals with allergies. Their "allergy-friendly" nature means that many people with asthma or allergies can happily share their space with our Groodles without worrying about dander or coat-related allergic reactions.
EXERCISE
Consistent exercise is vital for Groodles, but it's crucial not to confuse it with excessive activity, especially for young pups. To support their healthy growth, a daily exercise routine of a 15-30 minute leash walk is perfect for puppies.

Excessive exercise during the first 12 months can have lasting effects on their developing skeletal system, potentially leading to issues like early-onset hip and elbow dysplasia. So, it's best to hold off on jogging or cycling activities until they've fully matured. Also, try to limit strenuous stair climbing.

As adult dogs, Groodles remain active and lively, eagerly joining in on family play and activities. They need moderate daily exercise, which could include a daily walk, backyard playtime, swimming, or trips to the dog park. Plus, Groodles love socialising with other furry pals!
